I had dark nails last week!!
So it's time to change it up to something colourful this week :)
Yes you've got it! It's paint drip nails!!!!
It's really simple!!!
I did not follow any tutorials at all, I did it on my own after seeing so many of these nails :)
First of all, apply your base coat :)
I used OPI base coat.
It is a must to apply a layer of base coat as it protects your nails from staining and harmful effects of the nail polish, well, to a certain extent.
Then, apply a layer of nude/sheer base.
I used OPI You Callin' Me A Lyre.
Choose 5 colours that you like and paint the tips of your nails (You can choose to do one colour or two colours, it's all up to your creativity)
Pink: OPI Got A Date To-Knight
Orange: Essie Haute As Hello
Yellow: China Glaze Lemon Fizz
Green: Essie Mint Candy Apple
Purple: Essie Lilacism
I did not use any french tip sticker or any tape to help me, I did it all by eye-balling. You can choose to use the tapes to get a straight line :)
Step 4: Dot and Connect!!
Using a dotting tool, dot the big blogs you see, then use a dotting tool with a smaller tip to connect the blob to the tip of the nail.
This is a set of dotting tools by the way, you can find it on qoo10 or anywhere. You can try searching for blogshops as well :) Should cost more than $5 :)
And lastly, apply a layer of top coat to give the glossy look, and you're done!!!! :)
