Nails of the week: Paint drip

 I had dark nails last week!! 

So it's time to change it up to something colourful this week :)

Yes you've got it! It's paint drip nails!!!!

It's really simple!!!

I did not follow any tutorials at all, I did it on my own after seeing so many of these nails :)

First of all, apply your base coat :)

I used OPI base coat.

It is a must to apply a layer of base coat as it protects your nails from staining and harmful effects of the nail polish, well, to a certain extent.

Then, apply a layer of nude/sheer base.

I used OPI You Callin' Me A Lyre.

Choose 5 colours that you like and paint the tips of your nails (You can choose to do one colour or two colours, it's all up to your creativity)

Pink: OPI Got A Date To-Knight

Orange: Essie Haute As Hello

Yellow: China Glaze Lemon Fizz

Green: Essie Mint Candy Apple

Purple: Essie Lilacism

I did not use any french tip sticker or any tape to help me, I did it all by eye-balling. You can choose to use the tapes to get a straight line :)

Step 4: Dot and Connect!!

Using a dotting tool, dot the big blogs you see, then use a dotting tool with a smaller tip to connect the blob to the tip of the nail.

This is a set of dotting tools by the way, you can find it on qoo10 or anywhere. You can try searching for blogshops as well :) Should cost more than $5 :)

And lastly, apply a layer of top coat to give the glossy look, and you're done!!!! :)

Confessions of a shopaholic: September Edition

And as usual, I'm a mad shopaholic! Hehe.

First up, my craze over F21 items is infinite man. 

Refuse to sink crop top and tribal dress from F21 :)

This is the ultra thick skinned me trying to act cool for the picture I've showed you girls before in the previous post. HAHA.

Bat cat tee, there's the back view of the cat on the back of the shirt, so it's kinda cute :D

The galaxy wolf crop top was on sales!! So is the cactus print romper! I cannot tell you how comfortable the material of the romper is!! So soft! 

And the cactus prints are so adorbs! Not to mention, there's a heart shapes cut out at the back! Awwww. But now I have to look for appropriate bra D:

The photo I took doesn't do it any justice because it's so good and pretty, and such a basic piece to have :)

This is the slit maxi skirt from F21 as well. So soft and stretchy <3

Pretty perfume from F21 as well!!

I bought it because it has the atomizer bulb.

I don't have any of such, and the scent is so subtle and sweet.

My perfect replacement for when my current bottle finishes :)

The eyelet dress that was on sales! Saved me USD$5 :)

And the velvet tribal print skirt is so cool please, you see the black patterns, they are made of velvet, 3D! HAHAHA. So nice to touch :)

JC inspired litas and GoJane spiked heels are from Yvonne Chua :)

She is such a darling. Such a nice seller, and she was from my cohort back in secondary school <3

You cannot believe what an ah lian she was. But now, when you look at her, she's so sweet and nice :D

Anyway, the heels were worn once by her for modeling, but she doesn't like to rewear her things, so yeap!! I got them at $25 each. CHEAP CHEAP!

I attempted to buy from from taobao!

I bought from 65daigou.

I've heard both good and bad feedbacks about them, but since they offer so many places to meet up at, I don't mind! :)

And they are left quite a good impression with their good service :)

Anyway, I bought a tribal print skirt, but I'm selling it here.

But anyway, I'm selling it because I realised my F21 knit cardigan is similar, and I prefer sth more basic hahaha.

Anyway, I went for a steamboat last Saturday with my JC peeps, it was at Bugis :)

Then on the way to my friend's place, I saw this on the MRT. It looked like soursop, no? HAHA. 

I think I'm too suaku, but my friend says it might be ostrich skin. But really, look more like soursop to me :P
