Hahaha! See the weird title? HAHA.
I was thinking of a name of the category to categorize my records of places I visit, and came up with it. LOL. My hostel friends always call me Thia for some reason instead of the usual Cyn. So yeap!
Hahaha.
Moving on~
It was my very first time visiting USS last Saturday.
I know, you must be thinking how deprived I am right?
But stop! I was actually saving my first trip there with my future bf, but in the end, I hecked it and went with my hostel friends hehe.
Plus there was student price pls!
It was $50 instead of the usual.. $70+ I think? Haiya, who'd remember the original price tsk LOL
But anyway, we went to Menya Ramen at Vivocity level 1 for dinner :)
There was this dish, whereby you can order whichever portion you want and still pay the same amount. Well, the noodles are free, but the soup isn't (Purposely one pls)
A lot of the guys orders 3x which is 360g (the original serving is 120g only) and this idiot above decided to order 4x. LOL
In the end, he couldn't finish. Plus, dipping the cold noodles into the soup makes the soup cold, when not even half the noodles were gone. So, I'd say, I'd rather go for quality than quantity. I prefer my soup hot :)
This is mine!
I ordered Red Seafood Ramen.
It isn't exactly spicy, but I definitely like this soup base over the White and Black one.
White one is the Tonkatsu broth and saltier, Black is with garlic and onions which is oilier.
Then I added on Gyoza! Omg, how can anyone turn down gyoza man. Plus, it was just an additional $3!
Well, I love Japanese food.
Okay, I just love food ok!
HAHA. I'm only on a see food diet when I plan to please. Now I'm having a CANNOT EAT RUBBISH DIET
Okay okay, back to my trip LOL.
Aweshum tickets! LOL.
Like 15 of us going together, a miracle we didn't get separated! HAHAHA
So, we first went to the Haunted house on the right of the entrance, like you know, walk straight then turn right LOL.
I can't remember its name, but it was about a ship wreck and it was quite cool, and of course scary.
But the scary parts were mostly sudden scares. HAHA.
We queued for about an hour :'(
And, when I know they are coming, I will say hi to them. I mean, they like to scare people who look scared, so just appear to be brave la
Then we moved on to the Transformers ride!! WOOHOO!
It was pretty cool, especially in the front row.
Cool but not super thrilling. :(
Me and Cheryl when we were queuing for the Transformers ride!
Bored people switch on the camera yooo LOL
And let the camwhoring begin! HAHAHA
Then we went over to the Mummy ride.
And while walking we took some photos!~
*disclaimer: It's really hard to take good photos in the dark, so please pardon me :( I've tried to edit them already!
THE MUMMY RIDE WAS AWESOME PLEASE!!
I loved the reversing, speeding, twisting around and all.
I've always loved the feeling of flying, like my heart flying up and down LOL.
But I can never do high elements thingy, I'm afraid of heights </3
We then entered the Forbidden Forest to go to the House of Possessions.
This one wasn't as scary as the ship wreck one, probably because we already know their tricks etc.
Oops. Haha.
Oh and my friend managed to get the express tix from his friends who were leaving, and boy it was really damn fast.
The signboard wrote an estimated wait of an hour, we entered the haunted house immediately after we entered the queue.
YAY FOR EXPRESS PASSES!
After that, we went to the fairytale land and had some Ben & Jerry ice cream!
Yes, a candid shot of me, eating my ice cream YUMMEH
So, we wanted to ride on the Mummy ride again, but they closed down due to the camera glitch that occurred. We were the first group to encounter than glitch, but thank goodness we took it before they closed!
So, we decided to walk back to take the Transformers ride again, and on the way, we rode in the teacup HAHAHA. NOT EXCITING AT ALL ONE PLEASE.
Then we walked past the florescent bubbles area, and played with the bubbles, my phone couldn't capture the florescent bubbles without flash so here's one with flash!
Looks so gorgeous <3
Imagine a bunch of 19-22 year olds playing around with bubbles like little kids.
hehe
And I swear this dude is super entertaining!! He was commenting on every thing we did, and we couldn't stop laughing HAHAHA.
He actually tried to shun the light after I took this photo. LOLOL.
AND HERE COMES ALL THE GROUP SHOTS!!!
We wanted to make use of the red light, but seems like our faces cannot be seen at all.
P.S. There's a zombie at the left corner haha
So flash it is!
But somehow, there was smoke :(
She was really scary looking, but really short. heh
This dude was quite funny, he actually sat down and waited for us while we looked for someone to take a photo for us. Quite a patient zombie.
And, my friend sat on his shirt, and he got embarrassed while standing up.
Pretty comical. HAHA
Pretty zombiee <3
Ah yes, and this photo!
I'm so damn upset that my phone's battery decided to run low and couldn't operate the flash.
The zombie was an extremely good looking and cute one.
He looked ang moh-ish
I edited the photo so much and this was all I could see.
But then if you compare it to the original..
I mean, it's worse in this photo right? :(
It was my first time going to USS, and of course for Halloween Horrors, so I can't judge whether this year's was good or not.
But I've heard that it wasn't as good as past years'
I feel that the queuing was super time consuming, but it doesn't hurt since I had a huge group of friends to play with.
You can get express tickets if you wanna save time! :)
It's quite normal la, I mean, it's USS after all.
I'm so going to USS again, when Battlestar is open!
I'm so going to get my first ride on the roller coaster!
Anyway, do follow me on INSTAGRAM to get instant updates about the places I go to, and find out things I'm gonna blog about beforehand! :)
OKAY ENOUGH! THOSE WHO ARE GOING THERE IN THE UPCOMING WEEKENDS, ENJOY YOURSELF!!!
BUHBYE <3
