Hello people! :)
Well my last post was 10 days ago, in between my papers.
But now, exams have ended and holidays have begun!
Now, I am going to blog about my trip to IKEA at the start of Nov. LOL.
I know I know, it is long overdue! But I want to let y'all know what I love most at IKEA :)
So the first stop was to grab some food as me and Sammie met up for lunch/dinner. (We went to the one at Queenstown btw)
Kopparberg elderflower cider - $4.90
I think this was awesome! But it does contain alcohol because it is a cider. Quite gassy too. But I like elderflower, and perfectly good with alcohol.
2pc chicken wing - $2.80
20 meat balls - $9.50
Poached salmon - $7.90
Salmon sashimi with shrimp salad - $5.90
I didn't really like the meatballs anymore. It looks quite ugly and it does get a bit sickening after a few. And they changed the potatoes to mashed potatoes :( Plus, I wish they gave more jam.
The chicken wing was nice hehe. I liked it a lot :) Crispy and good
The poached salmon was disgusting! Sorry for being so harsh. But if you know me, you'd know that I HATE overcooked salmon that's tough. It's so tough that I didn't want to continue eating :(
Salmons are supposed to be tender and soft. All meats are supposed to be like this. No one should ruin a piece of meat like this.
That's why, I turned to the salmon sashimi. Salmon sashimi never goes wrong! ^^
The shrimp salad wasn't very nice, I only ate the shrimps :(
Elderflower cupcake - $1.50 each
Marzipan cream cake - $3
Chocolate & butterscotch pie/tart - $3.50
I loved all the desserts here! OMG. The elderflower cupcake introduced to me by Sammie was delicious!! It tasted like elderflowers (duh) and it was really fragrant hehe
The Chocolate and butterscotch pie was delicious too, but I think too much of it will make me sick :(
My favourite would still be the Marzipan cream cake aka Princess cake (I think)
Just look at it! How can you not love it?
A layer of cake, jam, cream and then pink marzipan!
HEYYY. We are camwhoring with fake flowers hehe
This was my attempt at an artistic shot, but not very artistic hor?
But look at what we did with the puppets HAHAH. So lame right? But it's cute :)
We both cutified our voices for the video. We are professionals! ;)

This was the miniature display room at the entrance! So cute right? :)
And these are my cacti buddies! :)
They look so pretty here <3
So.. In conclusion, I still like the IKEA at Tampines more than the one at Queenstown, because the one at Tampines is much bigger. There'll be more things to play with :)
So now.. anticipate while I blog more throughout the month! I'll tempt all of you with good food :)
And I'll blog about my CRAZILY OVER SPENT November loots. I spent so much that I doubt I'll be buying anymore in December :(
